HGN  holds and licenses U.S. patent 5,800,268, which covers the method of remote wagering™ on live games and events utilizing electronic transactions.

HGN's© European patent was published in November 1999, allowing HGN© to enjoy full provisional patent protection until final approval and issuance. On January 30th 2006 the European Patent Office (EPO) approved our patent. The scope of the patent includes the United Kingdom, Austria, Germany and the Netherlands, as well as all other EPO participating countries, their territories and possessions.

Our Australian patent application was filed on the 8th of October 1996 and was issued as Australian patent number 757,705 on June 19th 2003 and as patent 725,152 issued November 27th 2003.
HGN© also has a corresponding patent application pending in Canada.
